THE MARRIAGE BUS

ENGLISH VERSION BY WANDO WEAVER

Marriage is more than just a characteristic of being human or an aspect of day to day life for that matter. I liken it to traveling on a bus. Here’s why . . .

Imagine that you were at a stop waiting on a bus for quite some time to take you wherever you wanted, but as time passes, the bus of your dreams never appears. However, there are those that come and go and you let them pass because either they´re going where you´re not or they´re simply too crowded for your taste, when all of a sudden you realize that the bus of your dreams had been waiting on you all of this time. Thus, you´re quick to jump on board at all costs, but after a while you begin to notice the little things, like the lack of comfort, problems with its heating and cooling systems, or the fact that there are other passengers onboard that are either pushy or want to get off just to get back on another. As you spend more time on the bus with all of its inconveniences, you finally come to two conclusions: the first one being that you can’t you take it anymore and the second being that you’ve boarded the wrong one. Once realizing that all you want to do is to get off as fast as possible, your options are either a) board another bus or b) walk rather than ride for a change, which perhaps might not be half bad considering all you’ve gone through.
